the wedding is probably most likely postponed. Jordan needs warmer socks. jk it’s coronavirus. weddings without hugs aren’t super fun.

The festivities will take place at Lake Alpine, CA. It is quite remote (your phone probably won’t work), so come for the whole weekend and we’ll do our best to keep you entertained.

There will be a welcome party on the evening of Friday August 21 at Lake Alpine Lodge.

This will be very far from a traditional wedding. Closer to a somewhat extravagant weekend camping in the mountains with a lot of cool people. We’ve had the supreme privilege of many wonderful, amazing people in our lives. Our main goal is forcing them all to hang out with each other and hopefully they will do silly and entertaining things we can all laugh about later.

Seriously, you don’t need to dress up. Unless you want to. You do you. We’ll be outside, on the water all day with a lot of fun games, activities, and food. It will be August at Lake Alpine, so be prepared for swimming and kayaking and such if you like. On the other hand it is a mountain lake, not the endless sand beaches of Southern California (ie its in a forest so staying dry with rugged pants and hiking boots might be your thing and you’ll fit right in.) The Super Crazy Sick Night Forest Dance Party will go as late as necessary. No Parents No Rulz!! JK our parents will be there. They’re, like, totally cool.

There’s a lot of camping and open areas involved in all this (its mostly BYOB, Bring Your Own Bed), so we’re not super strict on who you bring. We want all of our fun friends to come celebrate with us. Leashed, well behaved, non-aggressive children are most welcome. Bring your wife! Your brand new boyfriend! Maybe your grandparents if they’re the cheeky, non-racist kind! Just keep it within reason. If you’re bringing a whole crew they better dance like champions and should probably bring their own eggs.
